The new AirPods combine intelligent design with breakthrough technology and crystal-clear sound. Powered by the new Apple H1 headphone chip AirPods now feature hands-free access to Siri using just your voice. And up to three hours of talk time on a single charge. Testing conducted by Apple in February 2019 using preproduction AirPods (2nd generation) charging case units and software paired with iPhone XS Max units and pre release software. Volume was set to 50 per cent. Testing consisted of full AirPods battery discharge with a mobile phone call until the first AirPod stopped playing call audio. Battery life depends on device settings environment usage and many other factors.
